MOU AMXRA and MMS 

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Affiliation Between American Medical Extended Reality Association (AMXRA) and Medical Metaverse Society (MMS)

1. Purpose and Background:

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishes an affiliation between the American Medical Extended Reality Association (AMXRA) and the Medical Metaverse Society (MMS) to foster collaboration and mutual support.

2. Definitions

- AMXRA: American Medical Extended Reality Association.

- MMS: Medical Metaverse Society.

3. Affiliation Details:

AMXRA and MMS agree to formalize the MMS as a Society Affiliate of AMXRA and AMXRA as a Society Affiliate of MMS. This affiliation aims to promote advancements in extended reality and medical metaverse through mutual cooperation and collaboration between the two organizations.

4. Benefits of Affiliation:

Both parties acknowledge the following bilateral benefits:

a. Logo Usage: MMS shall have the right to use and display the AMXRA logo on its website and promotional materials to signify its official status as a Society Affiliate of AMXRA. Similarly, AMXRA may use the MMS logo upon agreement.

b. Membership Discounts: Members of both AMXRA and MMS shall be eligible for a discounted AMXRA/MMS Society membership rate, fostering collaboration and cross-membership.

c. Event and Programming Discounts: Members from both organizations shall receive discounts on registration fees for events, conferences, and programming organized by either AMXRA or MMS, enhancing knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.

5. Responsibilities:

AMXRA and MMS shall collaborate to promote the shared objectives of advancing extended reality applications in the medical field. Both organizations shall work together in organizing joint events, webinars, workshops, and conferences to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration.

6. Term and Termination:

This MOU shall become effective upon the date of signature by both parties and shall remain in effect until terminated by either party with a 30 day written notice.

7. Amendment and Modification:​

Any amendment or modification to this MOU shall be made in writing and shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

8. Entire Agreement:

This MOU constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether oral or written.
